Envisioned as the pinnacle of luxury, the Palace Hotel is designed with salons and parlors to create a rich variety of dining and relaxation spaces for individual guest needs, as well as a variety of finely appointed rooms and spaces for ceremonies, meetings and grand social events. These spaces are gathered around and open onto three large green spaces via terraces, verandas and colonnades. These green spaces contain formal gardens, a wedding garden, resort amenities, and the focal Royal Water Garden, and each space opens up to the Arabian Gulf inlet. The 400 guest accommodations are extravagant, varying in size from 90 SM to 2,000 SM (approximately 970 SF to 21,500 SF). There are 20 of the largest suites to accommodate meetings of multiple heads of state and world leaders. Each large suite has dedicated elevator access, is highly secure, and has discrete service access. The traditional palatial aspects of the hotel are complimented with a world class luxury spa, state of the art meeting and banquet spaces, protected beach access, a small marina for large ships, and a resort pool with swim-in/swim-out canal connections to special resort rooms. The traditional classical architectural style was mandated in the client brief, which overlaid their desire to create a safe, secure palace hotel with an unparalleled experience of luxury for their guests.
