Alex Fashinasi
Alex’s fascination with the built environment began at an early age. In the pursuit of curiosity, Alex would mold any item in his surroundings into the imaginations of architecture and buildings. Stoking the flame of his childhood interests, Alex pursued and earned his Bachelor’s of Architecture degree in 2018 from SPSU and Kennesaw State University. His graduate thesis was a study in the ways architecture can aid those suffering from dementia.
Alex enjoys exploring the relationship design has with the human experience, and has gotten exposure to designing at multiple scales and stages. His first professional experience was an architectural internship where he worked on custom built modern homes both in the US and Mexico. Afterwards, Alex would gain experience in multifamily, student housing, and retail architecture. In this later experience, he would see multiple projects to completion from schematic design to completed construction administration.
Away from the office, Alex loves staying active by playing soccer, rock climbing, skating the beltline, or hiking with his friends. You’re also likely to find him enjoying Atlanta’s music scene or walking around with a camera to his eye.
