Frequently moving from military base to base with her family, Catt was routinely exposed to frequent change at a young age – new cities, new homes, new schools, new people. The concept of embracing change has crossed over into her design journey on a daily basis, with the constant desire to enhance her craft and an open mind in order to do so.
Catt graduated Summa Cum Laude from Virginia Tech in 2015 with a Master of Science in Architecture, concentrating in Interior Design. In 2017, Catt relocated to Atlanta, GA and planted her design roots at Dwell Design Studio, gaining tremendous experience in Multifamily design. Her expansive portfolio includes a variety of project types and aesthetics spanning across the East Coast and outwards to Texas and Utah. Her experience has given her the opportunity to contribute to all aspects and phases of a project, ensuring that the design integrity is protected, maintained, and carried across the finish line.
In 2021, Catt received Gold for her Florida-based luxury multifamily community design, Presidium Town Center – “where nature and humanity are brought together through thoughtful design.” This project was recognized among the most noteworthy projects in the industry in the 'Development & Design: Low-Rise' category of the 2021 Excellence Awards by Multi-Housing News.
Catt joined BLUR in March 2022, where her ability to curate and tell a story through thoughtful design makes her a valuable asset, along with her deeply rooted investment in the work she produces and the connections that she makes. Currently at BLUR, Catt is working on the Virgin Hotel located in the Brickell neighborhood of Miami, as well as multiple renovations for Gaylord Hotels.
Outside of BLUR, you can typically find Catt directly underneath the largest speaker at any rock or EDM show, frequenting HYGF Donuts, or competitive Irish Dancing.
