Taking it beyond your typical sports bar, Harbor Social transformed into an interactive social space with various games ranging from pool and darts to Duckpin bowling. The main focus during the design process was to elevate the social experience for guests by creating a space that was relevant, fun, and inviting. The venue provides guests the ability to socialize in a more avant-garde way by adding different entertainment zones, while enjoying craft cocktails, local brew, and a thoughtfully curated gastronomic menu. The 10,500 SF interactive space includes 4 Duckpin bowling lanes, 2 pool tables, shuffleboard, air hockey, 2 foosball tables, a custom 61-foot bocce ball court, 4 dart lanes and various table games. BLUR Workshop collaborated with mural artist, Kipper Millsap to develop a quirky mural playing off the words, duck and pin on the National Harbor picturesque backdrop. For the sports fans, a 30-foot video tv screen is featured in the space, along with other large televisions throughout the space to accommodate any sporting event.
