Nicole joined BLUR Workshop in December 2017 after earning her Bachelor of Design from the University of Florida’s Interior Design program. Rooted in a lifelong love of the arts—painting, drawing, building, and designing—she brings an instinctive creativity and adventurous spirit to her work. Always seeking new inspiration, she draws heavily from her travels and believes meaningful experiences are essential to both personal and professional growth. Her passion for hospitality design comes from the opportunity to elevate guest experiences through thoughtful, immersive environments.
Recently, Nicole has contributed to several award-winning hospitality projects. At the Perry Lane Hotel in Savannah, GA—a Luxury Collection property—she worked on renovations to the restaurant, bar, coffee shop, and guest suites, helping to refresh and refine the hotel’s boutique character. She also played a key role in re-envisioning Old Hickory at Gaylord National, introducing a renewed brand identity and an elevated, historically inspired interior that positions the restaurant for its next chapter.
Nicole’s work on the Marketplace concept for the Gaylord Palms Resort & Spa showcases her ability to blend creativity with operational strategy. By consolidating the outdated coffee shop, frozen yogurt parlor, and grab-and-go market into a fully customized, multi-use venue within an underutilized space, she helped streamline staffing, improve security, increase sales potential, and create new revenue opportunities in adjacent vacated storefronts. The project’s striking aesthetics draw guests into the space and have earned multiple awards, including a feature in Interior Design magazine.
Collaborative, resourceful, and committed to design excellence, Nicole thrives in team settings and values close engagement with clients. She is a vital member of BLUR Workshop, consistently elevating each project through her curiosity, dedication, and innovative approach to hospitality design.
