TIM KEEPERS
Tim joins BLUR Workshop after several years of varied architectural experience. He has worked with prefabricated housing systems, created holographic models and renderings, researched material systems, and participated in numerous competitions and schematic design efforts. Tim is accomplished across multiple software platforms, and has a talent for rendering and visualization. He was an entrepreneur long before encountering BLUR Workshop, having founded two companies focused on industrial and object design. Tim is a creator at heart, no matter if he is crafting a digital rendering or a hand-made wood object.
Tim’s experience is rounded out by his most recent position at 5G Studio Collaborative, where he was instrumental in the design, documentation, and initial construction administration for the AIA Atlanta and AIA Georgia Office in Atlanta. He has taken an active design role in both national and international projects, including a shipping container installation for Coca-Cola in Japan, an international prototype for La Quinta Inn and Suites, and an upscale public market adaptive reuse project in Atlanta.
Tim has been recognized in various design competitions including the RTF International Design Competition, the DCA Design Communication Exhibition and Competition, the Colombo door pull competition, and the Concrete Thinking: International Design Competition. In addition to his skills and expertise, Tim brings boundless energy and enthusiasm as well as an incredible passion for architecture and design to our practice.
